Granada, City of Views
Before coming to Granada, Spain, I knew very little about the city. I knew that Granada was located in the mountains, as well as the beautiful Alhambra, but it did not hit me how mountainous the city actually was until I arrived. The city is filled with 360 panoramas. Every time I think I see the best view in the city, another surpasses it. The city is filled with amazing views of Sierra Nevada and the historical architecture that the city has to offer.
I’ve only been in Granada for nearly 2 weeks, but I have already discovered many lookouts, hikes, and scenic walks. So far, my favorite view has been on my recent hike behind the Alhambra, situated in the mountains. I enjoyed looking at the snowy Sierra Nevada mountains and the many olive trees, especially during sunset. I’m always fascinated by the mountains due to the lack of them in lower Michigan.

The city is very much a maze. Therefore, I’m always coming across new hidden gems, whether it be a cool lookout, park, church, or walking paths.
